Firehawk specialist fire division offers a range of services and products to ensure that your premises are safeguarded against unwanted incidents or intrusions whatever the time of day or night.
With a service that is second-to-none, we operate a 24-hour response service as well as routine maintenance and periodic inspection and testing of fire alarms systems. With our fully qualified team of experienced engineers, we can provide complete fire alarm design and installation services as well as fire alarm upgrades, free site surveys, risk assessments, and a complete range of products, including:
• Fire alarm systems are essential so that people can be evacuated and the Fire Brigade alerted immediately in the event of a fire.
• Our products range from basic battery or mains 'standalone' smoke detectors to fully automatic fire detection systems with integrated fire extinguishing and emergency lighting. All of our fire equipment is installed to BS5839 standards and emergency lighting is installed to BS5266 standards.
• Conventional Fire Alarm Panels are rapidly becoming obsolete as the price of the far more advanced addressable system plummits. In some situations however such as a small installation a conventional fire alarm system that simply reports which area that an activation has occurred.
• Our fire alarm systems are designed to ensure adequate warning is provided to all occupants of a building to allow them sufficient time to escape to a place of safety and to summon the local fire fighting force so as to minimise the risk to life and limit fire damage to building contents and its structure.
• Our fire alarm system designers will design a system for the protection of life, property or both, and can be installed throughout the property or installed within defined areas of risk as determined from the findings of a fire risk assessment, local fire authority requirement or insurer's stipulation.
• Firehawk offer a full design, installation and commissioning service, backed up by a full service and maintenance contract to meet the requirements of BS5839.
• Our fire detection and fire alarm systems are designed to comply with BS5839 part 1 2002 for buildings other than dwellings and BS5839 Part 6 2004 for dwellings and houses of multiple occupancy.
• For National Health properties and residential care homes, systems are designed to BS5839 Part 1 2002 & HTM 82.
